I remember the discussion we had a while back about making machine pages spoiler-free while in cuisine a full history. I was browsing the Mortal Kombat wiki and I think I have the perfect solution: Tabs.
At the top are tabs: Overview, Current Timeline etc.
Here's my suggestion. On every machine page, put 2 tabs. A default, leftmost tab for an overview of the machine (technical details etc). Then the tab next to it, put history on a separate page. Atop the history page, put the regular spoiler warning.
RSQ's videos have always been added by Fandom staff, so I don't actually have any insight into that partnership. From what I understand though, RSQ is still working on Horizon videos, he just took a long break.
I've just started this account, and would like to have some help with something going around my head. first off, I'm a gamer, and specifically I like making a book, then making a game out of it. That also says I'm a writer, so I have this question: I have this idea going around in my head, which i've began putting down. before I continue, I would like to know if it's alright with you, because I didn't see anything regarding it on your policy page. I honestly hope I can continue, but first I need to know if it's alright. the idea I've got going around in my head is a second HORIZON: ZERO DAWN, not an update, a true second game. I don't know if you allow that, but I've got two pages where I have left it open to comment and suggestion, including plenty of editing. if that's a bit much I'd be happy to take them down, and I'm sorry if I'm causing you any trouble. it's just that I like the game, and kinda want to make a second. maybe not code it, but help compile ideas, make the book, so on and so forth. I guess what I'm trying to say is I need to know if that's alright with you, and whether you and your fellow admin can allow it. I really hope you can help me, and hope I'm not stepping on anyone's toes.
(P.S., I don't check in constantly, but I'll try to check as much as I can.)
To be clear, none of this wiki's admins are affiliated with Guerrilla Games, so if you're looking to pitch ideas to the game's developers, we're the wrong people.
If you're just looking to discuss your ideas with other fans, though, that's allowed, you just need to make sure that discussion happens in the right place. Wiki articles are for real/official information about Horizon Zero Dawn; fan content and discussion should be kept to your message wall or user blog. I went ahead and moved your page onto your blog, so if you want to keep working on it you can do so there.
thanks, that's great. I would like to know if I could get some help formatting, and whether you, or someone else, could help me out. I'm not looking for an assistant, just maybe some publicity? and how do I add the page to the to-do list, because I'm not the best speller, and need some help. if I'm stepping on toes, sorry, just this is my first time writing anything serious, and I'd like some help.
(PS I don't really intend on talking with Guerilla Games until I've got something decently polished, this is more like an Unearthed Arcana Idea than a true pitch of a game. for now.)
I'd recommend checking this guide on formatting. As far as publicity/adding items to the community to-do list, I'm sorry, but the purpose of this wiki is documenting official game information; advertising fan projects isn't something we're going to do.
thanks, I didn't really know what I was hoping for, but thanks anyway. I've actually just got a mention from someone that there's a HORIZON: ZERO DAWN 2, and I'm digging in. Currently, however, it's proven difficult, and so I've got plenty to do, lotta backwaters to check. anyway, thanks, and here's hoping you got your hands full with HZD 2, eh?
Hello, our global discussions moderator team has recently received a request to help moderate this wiki's Discussions. We will do some tasks to help clean up Discussions, which include:
Identify and recruit any local mod candidates,
Block users where needed,
If and when opportunities arise, educate /d users about the wiki and editing in general
With your permission, I'd like to begin the assignment here, along with possibly another GDM member. You can read more about Global Discussions moderators here. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.
It's been quite a while since we spoke, so I'm here to give a final update.
Since I began moderating here, Discussions has been fairly inactive and there's no need for me to continue moderating here now.
There hasn't really been any trouble here either and the most I've done in months is properly categorize posts.
If you need any moderation help in the future, I suggest M67PattonZippo and SteakBurger as possible candidates for Discussions moderators.
While neither are incredibly active, they both seem to be knowledgeable about this wiki's topic and have extensive moderator credentials on other wikis. M67PattonZippo is an admin on The Last of Us Wiki and SteakBurger is a Discussions Moderator on the Borderlands Wiki.
All in all, thanks for having me here and good luck!
It never occurred to me that GAIA might have had to make more than one attempt. I always thought the first time was the charm, and it took hundreds of years because it was a very long process. But we don’t know exactly what happened between Zero Day and life’s return. Thanks.

Hello, I was reading the Lone Light page and noticed something about the merchant. I'm on my 7th playthrough and doing a lot of exploration and playing the game in a very chaotic order (except for main quests) and I'm noticing a lot of different stuff.
Lone light is very active previous to the glinthawk quest and does have a merchant there, so I thought I could ammend the trivia part to add something to that effect, since it looses its merchant and population only after that side quest.
It's my first time doing this so I wanted to ask rather than edit right away, since I don't know the protocol for doing stuff.
I know i'm not Bearbog, but i've had so many playthroughs, i ca't remember the exact number, but i'm sure that Lone Light never had a Merchant. In fact i added that information to the trivia section. Are you sure it had a Merchant marked on the map before the Glinthawk attack?
I just looked at the map and the merchant icon is there, and then I went back to Lone Light and the merchant is in front of my nose :b
I was surprised too at first because before I only mostly remembered the town as empty.
But right now, I haven't talked to Talanah yet, even though I did petition to enter the Hunter's Lodge, so it's possible the state the town is in right now is the one before I trigger the following events.
I'll be sure to check back to see when the town changes. Maybe i should wait to make those edits then. It may take me some time though, I'm playing somewhat sporadically this time.
No need to ask for permission; so long as it's constructive you should absolutely feel free to add info! Even if you do happen to mess things up somehow, other editors will typically step in to fix it and integrate the info smoothly.
Do you remember me? I'm that guy who made the interlanguage request. So, finally, it's been working for around a month and since then I've been making the links between the PT-BR HZD Wikia and this one, helped by M67PattonZippo. However, he said that the main page must be edit by an admin so, I asked him to do it, but I'm afraid he can't ( I do not know if a rollback can edit the main page), because he did not answer me.
Due to this, could you, please, do it? Here's the link of the main page of the PT-BR HZD Wikia: https://goo.gl/QLvWu8
