So, according to my math, Zero Dawn came to PC 3 years after the console edition. Forbidden West would launch two years after Zero Dawn PC. And now, after two years, the Forbidden West PC comes out. If this pattern of 2-3 years continues, then the third Horizon title will come in 2026-2027.

In forbidden west you can do charger races with the desert tenakth. I’m wondering how this is possible, since aloy and those associated with sylens are the only ones we know of that are capable of taming machines. So where do the other machines come from? Did I miss a plot point of them being members of regalla’s forces?
Just Updated
So I was walking into the location in the picture and Aloy randomly said: "There. A moment of justice for the dead" but what's strange is when I went into the Valley to look for bandits (I get bored) they were all dead. And there were also tracks leading up to a tall rock. Did Aloy do this? Did Nil do this? Did a Stalker do this? If it was the first two, why did they climb up or down the tall rock, and how? Stalkers don't go there, and how didn't anyone see/hear the Stalker If it went near two settlements, and why didn't it kill anyone else in the settlements?

Regarding the Faro Plague and the various machines of the Chariot Line being frozen in mid attack while at least half a century would pass between the end of Enduring Victory and the Swarm being shut down by Minerva,
Given that in the Datapoints The Bad News General Herres says that “There will be no Earth left to reclaim. Just a lifeless, toxic rock with several million Faro robots on it...hibernating, waiting for something to eat.” that would indicate that in the absence of any detectable biomass to consume if the statement was taken literally then the Swarm would essentially remain immobile from their current position until they would detect any signs of biomass
And in the Datapoint Biosphere Degradation the timeline of extinction of “exposed human populations in February 2066, extinction of macrobiotic land organisms by the end of March 2066, and extinction of marine life in early 2068.” Would indicate that all available biomass available to the Swarm would have long been destroyed by the time of Minerva being able to deactivate the Swarm,
Though some of the machines in the Swarm would have been destroyed by the forces of Enduring Victory before their final collapse, explaining at least some of the Swarm’s numbers, given that EMPs were used against the Swarm it could explain at least some being frozen in mid attack, particularly in the Gravehorde/US Robot Command and the battlefield in No Man’s Land in the Forbidden West, there would be an equally if not greater amount of machines that would be somewhat unaccounted for, most notably the Metal Devil that was deactivated and dormant on top of All Mother Mountain
As the coincidence that the Swarm was deactivated by ZD just as the Metal Devil was about to attack the Cradle within the mountain would be somewhat to perfect last second timing, combined with the lack of any other Chariot line machines or Enduring Victory forces nearby either trying to attack or defend the Mountain and the Cradle within would be something of a disconnect in the lore, with the remains of the forces of Enduring Victory being present in the timeframe of the games
Though I think that GIAI leaving the remaining Chariot line machines intact even after they were deactivated would have been a mistake, particularly considering that the new generation of humans would be unaware of the threat that the Chariot line would face with the destruction of Apollo, with GIAI during her terraforming should have at least disassembled the Chariot line and recycle them into the machines she would use to rebuild the entire world, to ensure that in any scenario that the Faro Swarm would not be reactivated again under any circumstances
Though again according to The Bad News datapoint there were at least by the time of the creation of the hologram seemingly in the early days of ZD, there were at least 1000 Metal Devils in the Swarm, combined with the 15 months timeframe of ZD and the area around G Prime being the last point of defence against the Swarm, with their being 5 Metal Devils in the map area of HZD, and a combined 12 total in the area of the games,
I would almost expect a higher quantity of Metal Devils to be littered around the map, maybe having rows of fallen titans being on the shoreline of the western seaboard, given the description in various datapoints, though I can understand in terms of real world design that having the full coast being nothing but titans would be somewhat strenuous on the visual side, though a powerful background image, maybe the fallen titans could have been over the centuries been covered by the increased water levels
Also given that in the Datapoint Sobeck Journal, 10-31-65 R it is said that the Swarm went through straits of Magellan from Antarctica and that the Swarm came out of the ocean when attacking the west coast I would suspect given that ocean life was protected to be destroyed by 2068 and that there was more water than land on Earth that given that the Swarm follows biomass that the Swarm on land would only consist of the machines that were destroyed in battle, with the majority being under water given that the last biomass on Earth was located in the oceans, with the possibility that NEMESIS would seek to awaken the remaining machines of the Faro Plague to attack humanity
Let's think about this for a second. There are basically what, two(?) different story lines Sony could take for game three: 1) Go to the Quen's homeland of China/Indonesia, and 2) Go backwards to the Zero Dawn play area.
-Option One-
If you choose that you would rather have option one, then that would mean saying a complete and total goodbye to all Carja, Nora, Oseram, and basically all of the tribes we've already met, except for the Quen, where they would be extremely numerous, and likely the only tribe we meet, because they Quen are an empire, as opposed to just having tribes.
-Option Two-
If you would rather go back to the old map, we would get a most of the tribes we've already had, (Carja, Banuk, Oseram, Nora), but not any of the Forbidden West tribes that we've become so accustomed to, like Tenakth, Utaru, Quen, And on top of that, we would have already wandered these lands, and become familiar with; there would be little to no exploration of new lands.
I think that neither of these ideas are very good, and would lead to underwhelming results and disappointment in the new game. So, do you want Horizon 3?

Theory time.
This theory concerns Aloy's journey back to the Sacred Lands. While she has mentioned multiple times how she's better off without the Nora, she did also mention at the end of the base game, while inspecting Varl's focus, that she could travel back to the Nora land. For me, it would make sense for Aloy to return there. For one thing, she needs to let them know about nemesis and get them to stand behind her. Second, Aloy could accompany Zo, since she was planning to travel there as well. Even if the Nora have opened their gates somewhat, l doubt they'd still believe Zo, so Aloy backing her up would help a lot. But, another reason why l think it would make sense and would be a good idea for Aloy to return to the Sacred Lands is, that is how Aloy would come to terms with the Nora. Sure, how they treated her was bad and shty, but she still had people who accepted her when she was an outcast and/or were aware of her outcast past. What would be important is how they [the Nora] are now, since the past cannot be changed. Also, returning there would give Aloy a chance to visit Rost's grave again.
That is how l at least think, how about you guys?

Have you guys noticed the HZD version of a Tenakth in the Desert clan's capital, Scalding Spear? I was surprised to see one. I guess it's supposed to be an easter egg of sorts, or just a callback to the original design.
30 days until launch of Forbidden West on PC!
The Utaru have the Lowest population, Plainsong itself is really their only place they live, aside from a small trading post, and a couple of outer towns. That being said Plainsong is the largest settlement in the Game, in fact, it's only smaller than Meridian. The Nora are close though, having a much larger territory and many different settlements around it, Naturally as the oldest. But due to their beliefs, it's frowned upon to have more than two children (though this wouldn't be punished by exile) and would most likely have a higher population than the Carja terrorists and Tenakth Rebels, so I'd place them in 1300. We do know the population of their Capital and that they have a smaller population by far compared to FAS (as Aloy mentions the company is larger than any tribe). The Tenakth come next, as a tribe they have less than 250,000 people, and they have more land than the Nora. Furthermore they, like the Nora and Utaru, have gotten out of multiple bad spots. Not only did a huge number of their population rebel and kill many other Tenakth (which is a ton of death) but 3 years ago they were tortured by a huge tribe, and would've had to send thousands of men out to push back the Carja's troops. Not to mention tons of storms destroying Sky Clan villages, Blight killing all the plants and infecting the Water of the Lowland Clans territory, and the Desert clan has a serious water problem too. I'd say in order to be able to have all of this be done to them and be able to walk it off: They'd have 35,000 bare minimum. And due to their lifestyle it'd have to be the lowest.
As for the Banuk: 30,000
The Cut is larger than most of Nora's land, and is considered a small part of the Banuk's land. I think that the reason you'd think they have more is their insane skill.
Oseram or Quen? Quen.
The Oseram's Population is probably around 500,000. They are not a Tribe. So that's settled, and Aloy doesn't know of the Quen when she said that. The Oseram are big (get it?) but aren't that big, they have tons of land, and live in the Carja's land to as imigrents. The Quen would be smaller than the Carja, but bigger than the Oseram. Carja take the Cake.
Utaru: 900
Nora: 1300
Banuk: 30,000
Tenakth: 35,000
Oseram: 500,000
Quen: 2,500,000
Carja: 3,000,000
Given that Elisabet has shown the tendency to name the various AI’s and ranks of ZD after elements of Greek culture and FZ has named several aspects of their operations after Sumerian mythology and Ted naming his work after Egyptian mythology, with names in the Horizon series being deliberately used with some purpose randomly naming the ship the Odyssey without context would possibly hint to a further connection with Elisabet , the fact that the Odyssey even after its takeover by FZ would have kept its original Greek name, with its prototype version of Apollo being named Homer after the Greek historian, could indicate that in addition to the future Alpha of Apollo,
Maybe giving the Greek theme I could see the potential that Elisabet could have had some involvement, with its creation dating back to 2041 at least, though given her personality in helping to save the planet and later refusing to abandon the earth during the Faro Plague, I could see that involvement being uncomfortable at best, though maybe giving the latter attempt to steal GIAI and the fact that during 2041 see was still working under FAS and yet to become the head scientist of the company, though she would have been against the concept of the odyssey being an escape for the ultra wealthy, maybe she as a still new scientist at FAS she would have had some input in the project
Though not unlike the Apollo moon missions both directly or indirectly creating technological advancement that would have ultimately helped the civilian population, that Elisabet would have used the resources that were being provided to develop the Odyssey to either directly or indirectly provide the necessary resources to help her create the technology that would have helped with the Claw Back era, maybe as a further link between Elisabet, the Odyssey, Far Zenith and Vast Sliver, maybe Elisabet could have been part of or led the creation of Vast Sliver during that time, only for the possibility that multiple entities would want the power of a full AI could have led to Vast Sliver going rouge, maybe FZ being the entity that pushed Vast Sliver over the edge, and in part explains why they were so keen to obtain GIAI, as something of a second attempt to obtain a higher powerful AI,

Maybe the Subordinate Functions though not intended to be a set of true AIs like GIAI, maybe as a sense of characterisation could have been given a digital human form that would have taken inspiration from their original Greek counterparts, it would have been interesting to see Apollo taking physical inspiration from Athens and Minerva from Sparta or maybe even DEMETER and ARTEMIS taking plant or animal forms, in addition to a greater capacity to communicate and articulate ideas, maybe manifesting themselves in the edge of GIAI’s dome in the base
Maybe in the next game in order to further empower GIAI to be able to take on NEMESIS maybe the Subordinate Functions would need to be further developed to in turn enable GIAI greater computing capabilities, potentially by deliberately using a modified version of NEMEIS’s signal to in a controlled way turn the Subordinate Functions into full AI’s that would work in tandem with GIAI, as several of them such as MINERVA, AETHER, POSEIDON, and DEMETER were able to be convinced or even welcomed to return to GIAI, granting them a human level of intelligence that would have originally appeared only in GIAI,
So... I recently heard on the Horizon reddit page that the series is getting their own cookbook like Fallout and Destiny did. It has 60 recipes and includes various from the games (Meat in the Middle, Ceo's Banquet, etc.)
Here is the link to pre-order on amazon and it includes a few pictures if everyone is interested. Got to say, the images look very well and I'm hungry now. Not a cook myself so I hardly believe I will be able to do them unless I put the time, effort and money for it BUT I found it includes a bit of lore/story of our favorite cook (there were only like...3 with names in the whole game so not a lot of competition) Milduf! and also Pentalla it seems (the Salt Bite cook)
He is going to explore the west and compile foods from all the 7 tribes with an Oseram expedition, so I imagine he and Pentalla will somehow travel to Banuk and Nora territory, the ones we don't have any kind of food for their culture (probably includes a lot of fish and boar).
I honestly was disappointed with the whole food in the game, with the buffs and presentation ( I still use the ones that give weapon stamina+ and valor surge). Although I'm pampered by Monster Hunter World/Iceborn cutscene of the chef cat cooking amazing looking food so that is my fault lol. I was actually hoping we got more cutscenes while they prepare the food.
Given that Beta took the second Kernel from the Proving Lab and latter managed to take it with her after her escape from FZ, though after those events the second Kernel was not brought up again, with the Kernels being key to retrieving the other Subordinate Functions, with Aloy hypothetically being able to retrieve the remaining two functions at once or maybe even act as the additional space needed to hold Hepth without having to risk GIAI at GEMIN
Maybe in the third game given that NEMESIS had already been able to overcome the security defences of a fully functioning GIAI, maybe Beta would develop several different Kernels that would individually hold copies of the Subordinate Functions and GIAI and hide them in different ways as a further backup mechanism in the case where NEMESIS overwhelmed ZD again,
Another idea could be that a collection of similar Kernels could be used to remove the individual component minds that make up NEMESIS to further weaken its ability to function
